Hi List,
Now I'm a complete computer idiot (and at my age I have every right to be), but
I had to try and forward this you tube "performance" to you all.
You have all heard of the "Thurs. night jam" that I go to whenever the
opportunity permits. Well, Gerry Goss is one of the camera-people from Billerica
Cable Acess TV, and they come quite regularly and video this jam session. It's
just fun! Gerry recently posted this on U Tube.
This jam session has been happening for well over fifteen years, and through
this period of time, we've lost many members, cause we sure ain't getting any
younger!
This particular night, we had a "dobro row" consisting of fellow lister Andy
Katz, myself, and local luthier Steve Pierce. We show up briefly in that order,
Andy having his beautiful MA-6, I have "Blackie" and Steve has his personal
Pierce guitar.
"Chicky" got up and gave a brief tribute with regards to Bob Cormier, who had
recently passed away, (God rest your soul Bobby,) and I thought I would try and
share this with the list so you would get some idea of the fun I am so fortunate
to have with these bluegrass friends here in the Boston area.
I hope this forwards, or maybe Andy who's smarter'n me can kick it
along.....O;-)
