=> The clip looks to me like an in-studio TV performance from some time in the
1950s. I can easily think of various scenarios that would account for this,
such as:
A couple of musicians quit the band the day before a scheduled TV performance.
The band can't cancel its show, what to do? Fake it! Use an existing recording.
Watching the steel player's hands, I suspect he's the same one who did the amped
steel recording, so I assume he's one of the original members.
I like the meolodramtic gestures by the fiddler. This guy could out-Roy old Roy
Acuff.
