Aww this is too funny, to the point of being almost "cute". I was poking around
in You Tube as well, and I came across a clip of Marty Robins singing "At The End
Of A Long Day" , (I think that's correct,) and the steel player, on a non pedal
Fender actually shows up first in a white shirt, then in the middle of the clip
in a RED shirt, and at the end of the clip, he's back in a white shirt again. As
previously mentioned, d'ya think they were "lip-synching"??
Mandatory reso comment, just to get us all back on track, the steel dude has
some GREAT "tweedles" immitating a old timey Dobro player!
Incidently, on that previously mentioned Acuff-Ozwald clip, did anyone notice a
"egg slicer" in the back ground......saying nothing?
Richie
ps, this Clell Summey fella, with Lonzo & Oscar, that is indeed a Lap Steel or Hawaiian Guitar, altho you rarely see one played that way!
