Subject:[RESOGUIT-L] New Dobro
Date:Sunday, January 21, 2007  13:23:40 (-0600)
From:Barbara & Johnny DeRamus <wderamus @..........com>

After a couple on years trying to learn pedal steel and not satisfied with my
progression I decided to take a break and try dobro. I just bought a new Regal
38. Nice guitar but the strings sure do rattle a lot. Does it rattle because it
is a new guitar and new bronze strings or is there something I can do besides
taking it to a shop and having it set up by a pro? Also, is there a good
learning DVD or VHS that you could recommend. I have a Mel Bay beginners but it
is a little boring and doesn't show a lot of how to's. Any help would be
appreciated. Thanks, Johnny
