Dick,

You can start with http://www.youtubex.com, a site where you past in the url
from the youtube site that has the video playing that you want to save.

The files download in .flv format, which usually requires a special flv player.
The youtubex site has one link to click to get to an FLV player site. I tried
that and several more sites I found by Googling "FLV Player." I had very little
success getting any of them to play for me. One put the image half off the
screen with no way to move it, one lockied up the comuter, one had a license
agreement in German. Since things like this often require you to approve spyware
type things, I backed out of that one. At the moment I have uninstalled each
player I tried.

A friend told me about the youtubex site. I am waiting to hear back from him
and hopefully get some more help on getting this to work.
