Subject:[RESOGUIT-L] Steve Dawson (was New Dobro)
Date:Monday, January 22, 2007  13:54:17 (-0500)
From:Jim Norman <rezn8r @.......net>

I followed Betty's link to LearnRootsMusic and discovered Steve Dawson.
Never heard of him before. The sample of him playing blues on the
Weissenborn in C (or maybe C7) is just fine. Does anyone out there know
what tuning he is using? I googled him and found a link that describes his
gear, but not the tuning. Looks like he's using strings with slightly
heavier 4th, 5th, and 6th strings, but nothing terribly heavy.

Thanks,

Jim N.
