I also have one for my guitars and I love it. One drawback to any of  
these polyfoam cases is the smell - they tend to smell kind of  
chemical-y and your guitar picks a little of that up. I have used it  
for air travel but Scott's right, they are a little bigger than a  
standard case and I gate checked it on a trip to Mexico. But they're  
incredibly durable and are great if you ever have to ship your guitar  
anywhere - great protection for the guitar.   - Dave
