It's the 690 (although I had Ivan not bind the headstock so I guess
you could call it a 685). It's not that it wouldn't fit but rather
the fit was so snug that it was hard to zip up. The D size case is
just more versatile anyway. I've got a couple of other guitars that I
can now use the case for. My prewar Model 37 fit the 00 case nicely
but I just don't take it out to jams since the Guernsey showed up. ;
