Hi, Michael.
It was "G" up a tone, just like Brother Oswald. Clarence thought
a lot of Ol Oz. I mentioned to Clarence that using standard strings
in "A" was scary to me, and he said he did not have any problems
from it, and he liked the tight feel besides.
I like standard strings tuned down a step. That matches
( what passes for) my singing voice. I like the loose feel better
as well.
