If you want a good low-priced starting instrument, you can hardly do
better than the Gold Tone Standard, especially if you buy it from Beard.
They'll inspect the instrument and do the setup. I bought one for $525
last fall, although I've heard the price has gone up since then. Still,
you can't do better for the proce, IMO.
