Strings can lose their edge while they're just sitting there in a bag? I
didn't know that. But strings in the store sit there for ages sometimes,
don't they? Maybe they should have a "best if used by" sticker, like on
milk cartons.

I just finished with my first dozen sets of Euphonon strings. The first set
was really good, but the rest were half-dead by the time I put them on. I
kept them sealed in large freezer bags, so there may be a better way to keep
them fresh.
In any case, it is a relief to finally get back to the D'Addario J42's.
