Tip for no more exposed ends of strings. I learned this from an autoharp
player from Atlanta, Greg ...; ask your dentist for a pair of forceps (they
discard them after very little use). Then when you run the string through the
hole of the tuner peg, clasp the end tip with the forceps, set the forceps in
the hold position, clamped closed, and then bend the string back on itself,
like a loop, but flattened a bit, but wide enough so when you pull it back
through the hole, but it won’t go through. Thus, the end of the string is
hidden, never to scratch you again, nor the wood, and proceed to wind the tuner
key. It works on all six strings. I hope you’ll try it. -- Bob K
