I would choose (and did choose) f-holes, and would suggest considering
either f-holes or tone rings instead of the traditional soundscreens. I
personally think this makes a difference in the sound/balance, but that's
probably more of a subjective opinion than demonstrable fact (unless Charlie
Campbell is around to do the calculations, as he once did with respect to
the differences in total open space in domestic vs. imported
soundscreens...)
