I think the reason for your difficulty in decision-making is that you don't
know why you're ordering a new instrument! You've got this great-sounding
guitar - go play it. Meanwhile, you have this vague notion that there is
something better out there. That somewhere is a guitar that everybody
agrees is _the ultimate_ reso.
Nope. You have to fall in love. At every opportunity, play what others
have. At some point, you'll strum somebody's strings and be zapped. All of
your questions will disappear and you'll know that life will be incomplete
without _that_ reso (and people may mention the drooling problem). After
it's yours, days will fly by without your notice, you'll stop answering the
phone, the chores will be ignored... But if you let us describe your dream
guitar for you, it will be a dysfunctional chimera of other people's dreams,
and you'll go back to playing your koa...
