Hey Matt,
I have had a lot of guitars (reso's) I play a mahogany Beard that is just
wonderful for what I play and the way I play. Nothing can be better for me.
But for you, You have to love the guitar you have or the one you are buying
because each person is different, and hears it different.
What it comes down to is you being satisfied with the guitar you have or the
one you are going to buy.
No one can tell you what is better or what wood sounds better it just
matters to you and no one else. what sound you want and what you want the
guitar to be in appearance. You are the only one that matters in this
situation.
Good luck on your venture of purchasing a new Reso.
Tim Graves
