Many thanks for that - I am now listening through a pair of decent speakers
- these are good recordings, and even the mp3 conversion shows up
differences in tone. I will have to do some blind-test A/B listening - at
the moment I'm at the stage where I simply like the last one I heard (and I
like them all better than my current cheap and nasty). I'm trying not to
look at pricelists while I listen :-) Of course, the player, not the
instrument, is what ultimately counts, but I can tell that even I could make
better noises on one of these instruments.

Now all I have to do after deciding on the model is convince my wife that
yes, yet another guitar in the house is a Good Idea.
