I will add that I have a Webb strap, and the Schaller straplock, AND I
would advise sewing the loose end of the adjustable part of the strap
to the rest of the strap once you have it adjusted to your liking. I
was fortunately standing over grass at Merlefest when the strap slipped
through the buckle and the Scheerhorn hit the ground, straplock and
all. No damage, but I realize how lucky I am!
Also, every once and a while double check the nut that holds the
Schaller on the strap, I have found it works loose on occasion.
