Greg,

Good to hear from you. Seems I was just learning to tune my dobro when you
took off for Singapore, and I wonder if we'll be seeing you again sometime.
I'll try to contact Steve and see if I can hear how you played it. I'm
learning to break on it in sort of an "Oz" style with 1-fret and 2-fret
slants between the C, Dm, F and G chords. Did you ever play with (banjo
player) Keith Hillyard, from Lowell? Great player, great guy, and it is his
favorite tune and one I'd like to play with him.

I'll let you know if I find anything. Be well, keep picking. Go Sox (even
though Matsuzaka and the Sox just got blanked (1-hit) by Felix Hernandez and
Seattle.

Best,

Andy

Hi Andy,

If it's the tune I think it is, I played it with True
Life Bluegrass a bunch of times. Steve Watt probably
has some tapes of our performances. I never wrote it down,
and played it badly, but I'm pretty sure it was the
Don Stover instrumental.
