So...
Last night I went to our normal monday night jam where I usually just play
my MA 6 and last night I decided to bring my Road-o-phonic. The bar was
happy to have me plug in and I kept the volume down so it blended in. The
crowd love it and for the first time, was buying the band drinks all night.
I used the road-o-phonic all night and loved it and everyone else seem to
love it as well.
But we have one guy in our group who is very central to the jam and feels
ownership of it. He apparently hated the electronic dobro and while he said
nothing to me about it to my face, told everyone else in the bar how po'd he
was with me. Out of no where I hear: oh you are in hot water. my response
was who cares.
This guy is particularly curmudgeonly but I do like playing with him.
However, I don't like being dictated to especially when the rest of the
crowd responded so positively and to my ear, it sounded great. So what to
do.
