Since I spoke recently with the postal inspector on this case, using a phone
number given to me by the assistant U.S. attorney, I'm going to verify the
bona fides of this email, and will post again later today. So if you're
concerned about responding with your personal info, you can wait until we've
had a chance to check it out. I'm in and out of meetings all day, but will
try to post again tonight.
And with respect to restitution, it is worthwhile to get the fullest
possible restitution order in place, in part because it's hard to predict
when someone might have assets down the road, and also because it helps
establish the best possible record of this crime. So if you have losses, I
encourage you to cooperate to get them established and part of the
restitution order.
