From where I'm sitting, you've all provided really what I needed, that is,
encouragement to continue working on finger-flip slants. This technique is
really the only way I can do them well given the body I live in :) .
And I thank you all for that, very much!
Given my hand build, the Stevens doesn't slip out of my fingers. I'm not using
a death-grip, but I am holding it well enough to keep it where I want it. The
fingers seem to work well, flippling it forward and back.
So far I'm doing the forward D 3-string and F 2-string positions, and the
backward 7th 2-string positions (trying to walk up and down the neck).
Now, on to making my slants *sound* better...
