I finally sucummbed to an mp3 player (Creative ZenV 8GB) and I've
been furiously ripping some of my CD collection. I've come
across a few titles that I haven't listened to in a while.
The latest is 1994's "The Great Dobro Sessions".. Sadly, I've
just realized that 1/3 of the participants have died since this
Grammy award winning project was released. This was really a
mind blowing album for a lot of us back then. If you don't own
it...well, you must.
Now...I think I'll be listening to Tone Poems III w/ David
Grisman, Mike Auldridge and Bob Brozman. Haven't heard that in a
long time..
I've got an "all reso" playlist on the player. Shuffle mode for
Auldridge, Douglas, Rosenberg, Johnson, Oz, Ickes, Graves, Van
Meter, The Resoguit compilation (remember?), a bunch of stuff
some of you have been kind enough to share, and my stuff :-)
I'm realizing that 8GB was not enough!!
