Pete, you mentioned in your post about Deacon that you are probably the only
"double thumb" picker left.  You should check out Johnny Bellar at
www.johnnybellar.com. He uses a lot of double thumb picking in his music.  He
says it gives his playing stronger tone than he would have with three finger
picking.
