Howdy folks,
I suspect that Elistas.com had to take a bit more time than anticipated
with their server maintenance.
It looks like we are back up and running. I've also spot checked the
archives and it looks to be completely restored.
This type of thing is not uncommon for this type of service.
Maintenance and recovery don't always go as planned.
I currently run two "dummy" resoguit-l lists on different providers that
I can switch on if Elistas does a permanent crash and burn. All the
current subscribers are loaded.
My primary backup is on googlegroups (which I just might move to some
day). You can also google the Ellistas -and- Topica archives. I run a
second backup on resoguit.com.
So...there you go. That wasn't so bad.
