I agree with phil, Without the index finger doing it's job you will never have a
correct roll on the dobro. Uncle Josh was the master of the three finger roll,
Well I guess he should be he did invent it didn't he. His fingers all played an
important part in making the roll correct.You must have all three fingers working
correctly to make the roll correct and all the other licks you use on the dobro
