Subject:[RESOGUIT-L] Buzzing
Date:, September 20, 2007  21:20:21 (+0200)
From:Ed <ekrmeyer @.......net>

I am seeking advice on getting rid of buzzes. My reso, a Beard Gold Tone square,
is buzzing pretty bad especially the 5th string at about the 10th fret. The same
note on other strings further down the neck sound fine. The fifth and sixth
strings have never sounded very good up iat the higher frets. I have had it apart
many times and when I first put it back together it seems to sound good for a
while but the buzzing always returns. I know that this is sort of the nature of
the beast but it is frustrating. I have tried moving the spider slightly with a
screwdriver and no help. I also have felt under the tail-piece. Any other tips
would be appreciated.
