from the web site picture, it looks like it's cam actuated.
And if you like heavy, cam-actuated
reso capos, you might contact Dick DeNeve... don't know if
he's still making them, but I bought
one a couple years ago and it's H-E-A-V-Y, brass and uses a
cam open/close mechanism
that sort of looks like the Walworth, only more substantial..
I haven't had any trouble with it, although, I don't use a
capo all that often. I loaned it to a reso player at a
festival last winter and he used it for the
weekend and had no problems and thought it sounded
fine....can't swear it's trouble free
but so far no problems with mine.
anyone else out there got a DeNeve capo might want to chime in
here.
