I'm sorry to say, I'm putting my Beard MA 8 string up for sale. I thought I
would give you guys a chance before ebay. Here is what I can tell you about
it: it is the best sounding dobro, bar none, that I've ever played. Better
than any other 6 string I've had (and I've had a few), better than any 8
string I've ever had (and I've had a few) and better than any other MA that
I've had (and I've had a few). This was picked out for me by Mike A himself.
He went down to the Beard shop, played all the ones available, and brought
me back the best sounding ones. When I choose the one I have now, I could
tell he was disappointed. It turns out he was going to keep that for his
own. Mike himself thought it was the best sounding one he had heard.
$3,200. It is in immaculate condition. The sound is untouchable: gorgeous.
It is the best you will ever hear or own. No question in my mind about
that.The bass is unbelieveble. I've never heard a bass on a dobro that
sounds like that.
