Check out the ATM pro 37R (Audio Technica) since it's a great instrument mic 
and works great for one mic vocals too. Great little small diaphram 
microphone. It's little and cheap but works as well as anything I've 
experienced onstage for both insruments and vocals. Great for one mic stuff.
Okay...Ideal mic for dobro...Anything by Neumann.
