ResoSummit is a multi-day educational event taking place Nov. 8-11 in
Nashville, organized by Rob Ickes. It reached its registration cap (80) in
early Feb., and still has an 18-person waiting list, so we aren't accepting
any more names for the waiting list. Faculty: Mike Auldridge, Rob Ickes,
Cindy Cashdollar, Phil Leadbetter, Randy Kohrs, Michael Witcher, Andy Hall,
plus two luthiers in residence: Paul Beard and Tim Scheerhorn. Concerts
each night featuring a band of one of the faculty members, at the Station
Inn (and open to the public on a space-available basis): Thursday, Three
Ring Circle (Rob Ickes); Friday, The Infamous Stringdusters (Andy Hall);
Saturday, Mike Auldridge with The Claire Lynch Band; Sunday (at 4:30pm):
Missy Raines & the New Hip (Michael Witcher).
To get the earliest notice when registration opens for next year's
ResoSummit (Nov. 6-9, 2008), sign up for Rob's mailing list at his website,
www.robickes.com.
