Hmmm . . . this tuning thing got me thinking . .
Ever since I READ this forum for the first time and heard about TEMPERED TUNING
(Pete Grant I think posted something on it when I first joined the list about '02
or so I think . .
Ever since then I tuned down my B's . . . now, I don't have a digital tuner, but
even with my Intellitough P-40 I can tune down . . . didn't take me long to
actually be able to HEAR it, when I raked across all 6 strings open.
I've messed with tuning down the two B's anywhere from ONE BAR, to TWO BARS, on
my intellithouch . . . seems ok either way . .
Soooooo . . . to all the detail and acoustic physics and sci-fi kats and kitties
in this forum, here's my question:
How many cents in one arrow, roughly speaking, on an Intellitouch Tuner P40?
*G*
I'd always 'GUESSED' that one arrow was about 6 cents or so, and it was MORE
than adequate for my amateur ear. 2 Arrows, given that theory, would be 'about'
10-12 cents, and sometimes, two arrows seems too much for me and my personal ear.
Not that it's all that refined my ear . . . anyhoots, curiouser and curiouser I
am for you tech minded folks.
How many cents per arrow? *G*
