OMIGAWDDDD Frank,

Well good for you!!! Ok, now you have an obligation to fulfill. I have a group
of people who are going to get together, and give one loud TWANGGG for
me.....consider yourself included!!!

I have a family member, a very "special someone" who has started dealing with
the effects of her chemo treatments.....altho this was a possibility when
Reso-Summit was being planned.....I'd arranged to go to Reso-Summit regardless,
JUMPED AT THE CHANCE actually, and probably was one of the first to deposit, sign
up, etc.

You can imagine how hard it was to have to back out. Betty was a great
help/comfort/friend thru all of this, and I was truly concerned when she had her
own difficulties with those awful fires, too close to her home. I've never met
Betty Wheeler but she's got to be some kinda special person, who is having as
much fun with Reso-guitars as I am. Actually, I figure it takes "special people"
to realize, get involved in, learn to play, and certainly ENJOY these resophonic
instruments. The Dopyera Bros. really started something, didn't they? I'll bet
they never thought........

So again Frank, enjoy the show, keep in touch, and who knows, maybe next year
when our paths cross.....we'll sure share a couple of brews.....between enjoying
the music.

Frank Watt? I should remember that name! We have a local banjo player here in
Boston, Steve Watt, and his son Tony Watt is an awesom flat picker, and good
friends with Andy Hall & Chris Pandolfi (hope I spelled that right) of THE AMAZING STRINGDUSTERS. Don't suppose you are any relation?

Anyways keep in touch.....knowing I have so many friends who are enjoying the
Summit, makes it a bit easier to miss the show.

Reso guitars RULE!!!

Richie

ps, you mention you were in "sunny Bagghdad" last year? Well Frank, if you were
in our Armed Forces, then I am absolutely THRILLED you are going to the Summit in
my place! And that's as close to a "political discussion" I'm gonna get involved
in on this list......
