Thanks, Dick. I did just that and found it turned a bit. And that's after
using Loc-tite a few months back. Somebody said they couldn't imagine
slinging the instrument across the back because they wanted one hand on the
instrument at all times. But the nature of the beast is that when you play
standing, there are no hands holding the instrument. You've gotta be mighty
quick to catch one. I used to use a piece of leather with a hole drilled in
it to permanently attach the strap at the back. I came up with that after
one came off the strap going on 30 years ago. I got so used to it that I
sometimes assume Strap-Loks are just as permanent. They're not.
Like Dick says, check your Strap-Loks.
