I play guitar a little and have always loved the sound of resonator guitars. I'll be looking at some square necks this Saturday at Smoky Mountain Guitars in Pigeon Forge TN. Are there any suggestions as to what qualities to look for? I plan to use the instrument to play country, bluegrass and gospel music. Also, what instructional books do you suggest for the beginner.
