Hey Kathy,
You definately should take a little time and look around .
I havent been playing very long , i got all excited and ran out and bought one
i could afford , quickly ,an import ,it was at really the only music shop in my
area that even carried a reso and it was the only one he had. I do like it but
have heard really bad things about my particular choice well after i purchased
it. making me wish i had taken the time and perhaps
joined this and other sites before i bought. I have heard nothing but praise
for Beard guitars and would really give his instruments alot of consideration .
Again its all of what your ear decides is pleasent but take time to compare.

Hi Kathy,Welcome to the site.There are so many thins to look for ,that you
really should try to have someone with knowledge of resos with you,or do a lot of
research.Personally,Ifi were to buy a new one right now,I think the maple
GoldTone model by Beard is one of the best buys..Lots of luck,hope you find what
you like..Carl
