As a beginner reso-maniac, I agree with Richie regarding Cindy Cashdollar´s
video from Homespun Tapes "Learning Bluegrass Dobro". This is a good
instructional aid and available in DVD-format but the volume of sound is for some
reasons so low that it is hard to pick along, but Cindy is a very good teacher
for nuts like me. Another instructor I highly recommend is Jimmy Heffernan and
his DVD "Resophonic Guitar from Scratch".You can order it from his website http://www.jimmyheffernan.com/. If you have covered these and
still hooked on reso, move on to Rob Ickes and Jerry Douglas instructional DVD´s.
Have a luck and be patient - good wood grows slowly !
