Greetings from the temporary home of the resoguit.com empire, Rincon, PR
:-) where the poobster has squeezed into his Speedo for some much
deserved R&R (no photos puleeze)

Firstly, even though I was absent from the the large gathering in
Nashville (I, having sent a professional minion in my stead), I know it
was a criticaal event in the history of the instrument. Kudos to
everyone that had a hand in organizing the event and congrats to all
that took part. I can tell that the summit will have "legs" and those
that learned will in turn become the teachers.

Secondly, Welcome to all the newbies!!! Ask questions!! We got answers.
This is a way friendly bunch and we're always here to lend a hand.
We've been online since 1997 and have lots to say.

Third....I've been contemplating some updates to resoguit.com, possibly
expanding the focus to include biscuit and tricone systems and (finally)
including our round neck cousins and their favorite styles. That
probably will not happen on this list, which will remain focused on
square neck spider bridge guitars. If it does happen, it'll be late this
year or 2008 and might be a web based forum...dunno. Depends how much
t*i*m*e* I have. It may not happen at all. I'll take any thoughts about
this PRIVATELY, not on this list.

I'm also aware that the list digest has not functioned in months. I
grind my teeth every time I think about it. I'm contemplating another
move late this year in order to help our long suffering digest
subscribers. It'll be painless. I promise.

That's it for now. "She Who Must Be Obeyed" is suggesting I turn this
laptop off and join her in a snorkleing adventure.

I had better take her up on it.

Practice..Practice
