Subject:[RESOGUIT-L] Beard vs. Other Dobros
Date:Tuesday, November 20, 2007  08:02:46 (-0800)
From:Tim Dawdy <beardvc @........com>

When I hear this kind of discussion I must chime up about the most
essential factor in playing well. PRACTICE!
I am sure that Jerry Douglas could make a plywood Goldtone Dobro
sound good and I could make a MA-Beard sound bad.

Lets get our guitars out and play more. We live in a golden age of
resonators Luthiers. Comparing them is like comparing 1600 century
painting. It is all a matter of taste.
I am glad these artists are building Dobros, and I am not confined to
choosing from the corporate bungling of Gibson.
