From:jarrettlesko <jarrettlesko @..........com>

after hearing Scheerhorn will no longer take new orders, I was troubled that I
waited to long and possibly missed out on owning one.
I have a few friends who play the "L" models and I am always knocked out how
rich they sound. I play a maple Beard "E" and I'm very happy with it. It is a
great instrument ! Can anyone out there in reso-land
describe in more detail the inner construction of a Scheerhorn "L" ?
I know it is an open well but how is it braced (top and bottom ) and how is the
saddle constructed. I assume it is a quarterman cone and a cast spider bridge.
anything else ?? thanks for any comments
