Subject:Re: [RESOGUIT-L] U.S. Subscribers, Happy Thanksgiving

Thanks Howard. I posted a little silliness over on Reso-Nation. Thought I'd
add it here, too. Feel free to add your ideas for a SAFE RESO THANKSGIVING.....

  1. If you undo your belt to make more room, fasten it before playing the reso
to avoid scratches and dents.

2. Wipe your chin. Nothing worse than trying to remove dried gravy from a screen
hole.

3. Cranberry sauce is acidic. It doesn't belong anywhere near the finish of your
reso.

4. Wash your hands before playing. Turkey grease will make your picks spin
around and slip off.

5. Don't play along with football commercial jingles. Until you are ready for
the visitors to leave, that is.

6. Yes, it IS to early to be practicing Christmas songs.

7. The top of your reso is NOT the place to try to balance a second piece of
pie. That's what your banjo is for.

8. Help your spouse with the dishes. You just might be awarded with permission
to buy a new reso.

9. Give thanks that you are one of the lucky ones chosen to play this beautiful
instrument.

Have a HAPPY THANKSGIVING everybody.
