My advice is to schedule a lesson or so with Michael Witcher, who now lives
in Nashville. He is an especially gifted teacher and can really help with
all the fundamental technique issues that are critical to good playing -
left and right hand techniques, rolls, hammer-ons and pull-offs, playing
closed scale patterns cleanly, etc. There is really nothing that can
substitute for having a great teacher watch your hands closely and help you
