Hi Jay,
I am going to let others far better informed than I am to reply to your pickup
question, Jay, but you should know that there are pickups SPECFICALLY DESIGNED
for Resophonic guitars and I would really hesitate before following that
recommendation someone gave you re: a piezo or a humbucking pickup. I don't
think so. For what it's worth, I prefer to use a Shure mic. either a SM-58 or if
available, a SM-57 for my resos. Your "mileage may vary"......O;-)
