Hi Jay
I use the Lace thin line sensor on my Johnson brass body, it sounds quite
nice to my ears but maybe it is that it suits my style, it is warmer than a
Fishman piezo and has a lot of bottom end. I haven't tried their single
coil style pick up but no doubt it is similar but perhaps not as warm.
I fitted mine with a volume control in the f hole, a la Doug Macleods set up
done for him by National. But it isn't really necessary.

type and make/model of pickups to be used with a Beard Model E Reso. One
recommendation I have is for a piezo and a Humbucking pickup.
