Some great stories shared on resogit list . . . I'm guessing you had a ball.
I was planning on going to the jam on Saturday that John Hettinger posted out,
with you and Ivan R . . . what's HE doing in Sacto????? But I fizzled out tired
and too late to make it.
Still getting used to a five day work week that takes a lot outta me.
Is hIvan going to be in the Sacramento Region for long?
I'm back at work, and money is loosening up a bit . . . I'm thinking of a lesson
or two.
I'd be THRILLED to catch Ivan for a lesson, if he's available in the next couple
of weekends and is local. Put some money in his pocket, support the artists, etc.
And, I should really schedule something with you, to catch up and see where I'm
at, I'd like that a lot . . . to get your feedback . . . I just noticed a wrist
position issue I have where my wrist cocks left a bit, and the phat part of the
bar is NOT on top of the notes!!! I rotated wrist right, but it caused cramping
real quick . . . likely due to lack of recent practice.
I've got some good Heffernan vids and stuff to work on, just haven't really dug
into it.
I HAVE 'noticed' scale patterns more and more, and have increasing understanding
of what it MEANS to know scales and to play across the neck instead UP the neck.
Might be a good time to get together with you and reinforce all the things you
tried to drill into me a few years ago!!! lol
What say you?
One sitting with you, or even a few in a row, would be affordable for me again .

N man, I lost one of them great Dunlop finger picks you gave me recently . . . I
can't FIND that heavier metal in any picks at 5th String . . . maybe you got a
place I can order online or something, for that heavier metal pick . . . I sure
liked them . . . and I CAN notice the difference in the dunlop's I have . . .
they are NOT like the one's you gave me!!! Sigh.
