Steve - Unless you're planning to check your guitar at the ticketing
area I would urge you to put your guitar in a basic hard case and
carry it on. If you have to gate check it, don't worry - the really
bad damage happens in the terminal where your bags get triaged and
tossed around before they even get out to the tarmac. Sad to think
you missed this great event because you were worrying about that.
Come next time and bring a beater if you have to! - Dave
