Hey Everyone, (and eat-ur-heart-out Tom Foote,)
Well if I was gonna get y'all Christmas presents, I'd get you all copies of the
Junior Barber & Beartracks' latest cd, "Together Till The End."
Sneaky ol dude that I am, I've got an "advance copy" (dubbed direct off the
master by a friendly elf!) and Beartracks has done it again!!! The final product
is still in production and duplication stages, so I'd suggest checking the
Beartracks web site, often, for the official release date. (I just type in Jr.
Barber & Beartracks and hit "search," and I find it with no problems)
Tom Venne, and Julie Venne-Hogan's sibling harmonies are, as usual, superb,
backed by "Cuzzin" Junior's oh so tasty reso playing.
It's funny, Junior Barber plays DeNeve guitars, for the most part, and I also
play a DeNeve (when I'm not aggravating folks with one of my Sho-Bros).....so how
come I don't sound like Jun....oh never mind, forget I asked.....dang.
I personally have a lot of fun, playing along, with Beartracks and Junior
Barber's cds. I've actually learned a lot, and feel I've improved my own playing
by doing so. I can't wait to find some "quality practice time" to really set
down and play along with this newest cd from one of my favorite groups.
Go Beartracks, and keep warm up there in the fffffrozen north country,
