I think an investigation is in order - something fishy is going on here.
But Lee's post reminds me: My newest moneymaking scheme is to compile a
book of all the snarky, rude, or otherwise scandalous items that were
posted to this list but intended to be off-list. There are two components
to this moneymaking scheme: the sales revenue from the book itself, which
will be quite a juicy read, and the revenue from money people will pay to
keep their post out of the book.
For the record, Howard, I love having the list addy being in the "Reply to"
field, because if I've gone to all the trouble to think of something witty
or snarky to say, I want the widest possible audience for my witticism or,
uh, snarkicism.
And for the record, Chris, I have never done anything for Lee, except drop
my bar on his new Scheerhorn.
