Jay,
I use a program named "Total Recorder," available online from
www.highcriteria.com/
The pro version is not very expensive and offers many options - file format,
quality, automatic splitting into separate files at specified size or time
intervals, automatic timer recording, and free updates.
I regularly record a four hour Saturday morning Country music stream and can
save two programs to one CD in MP3 format.
