It just hit me tonight.
Hit me hard.
I'm on WAMU Bluegrass Country.org. Streamin their feed.
Blogging, yakking here n there, reading, and in general, enjoying being warm,
inside, and dry in a HUGE day of storm making, even here in
thegodforsakenvalleythattimeforgot.
I hit me, hard.
Almost every song for hour on end had a dobro in it.
Almost. Every. Song. 3-4 hours straight.
And then, I thought, it's kinda the same way on bluegrassradio.com.
N even bootliquor.com, and many places I also frequent for internet listening.
WDVX (love that lil station and Gracie Muldoon). Lots of americana stations,
too.
KPIG. WNCW. WildWestRadio.com.
And of course, a few times on KAOS, and Saturdays on KVMR.org.
So, in MY not so scientific survey, the reso is everywhere. It wasn't LIKE that
a few years ago, I don't think.
The dobro is in the studio, on every track, in so many genres it's insane.
Golden Age, you betcha by danged golly!!!

"It don't mean a thang, if it don't gots dat twang" (may belong to another
lister, but it's worth stealin)

That's My Story, And I'm Sticking To It!"
