Yes, the majority of us simpler village idjits got the G Tuning on 6 strings.
Bless MY soul, I got an older reso I now keep in DADF#AD. Pete Grant and a few
others contributed to this delinquency.
One of these days, I need to take some lessons from Pete to learn this foreign
language, but in the meantime, I'm jammin to the entire Greatful Dead Collection
with great joy and mirth!
Beyond 6 strings, and all them pedals, are dreams I entertain in my deep sleep,
as I imagine myself on stage at Winterland, with The Dead, Pete Grant, Moo Twangs
Two, and we got trips egg slicers and are swappin licks to China Cat Sunflower,
then to Saint Stephen, as it moves to Tennesse Jed, Uncle John's Band, on thru
I Know You Rider, Bertha, Playing In The Band, and culminates in an orgy of
insane skinny dippin to Sugar Magnolia.
Wherin Bobby Wier then busts out into Round and Round, and they finish with some
kinda demented version of Day Tripper that's out of key on the vocals but we egg
slicers hold it all together and the far gone audience never even notices.
it's good to have dreams.
